Message from the ULS Foundation- Annual Appeal

ULS Foundation Letter 2020-2021

November 19, 2020

Aloha ULS Ohana,

I hope this finds you in good health and spirits. This year has been in a word challenging; With the COVID-19 pandemic, and subsequent economic turbulence, the future has never felt so unpredictable. These are challenging times for everyone, and our school is no exception. While there is so much instability in our world, we at the ULS Foundation know that we need to adapt to our constantly changing reality. The mission of the ULS Foundation has always been and continues to be to support our school in every way possible.

In years past our donations have gone to various facility upgrades. However, this year, with the uncertainty of the state budget, the ULS Foundation intends to fill the budget gaps left by the anticipated cuts to state funding to the school. Now more than ever, our school needs us, and we need you.

The ULS Foundation has set a goal of raising $450,000 this year. In the past, we have asked for a donation of $1,500, however, we understand that these are challenging times and we ask that you give what you can. We can meet our goal if every family donates $1,000, so please consider making a contribution.

Here are the ways to give to ULS today:
• Give Online! If you’d like to donate via credit card, please go to ulsfoundation.org/ways-to-give
• Mail It! Please send your donation checks to P.O. Box 11208, Honolulu, Hawaii 96828
• Drop it off! Bring your completed donation envelope to the ULS School Office

In challenging times like these, we’re reminded of how interconnected we all are. Thank you for being a part of the Jr. Bow community, everything that we do is only possible with the help and support of everyone in our community. Please take care, stay healthy & be safe.

With Warmest Aloha,

Romeo Gampong ‘90
