Continuation with distance learning through November 6

September 28, 2020

Aloha ULS Parents/Guardians,

I hope that all of you are safe and well. Our parent letter on August 28, 2020 communicated that our distance learning plan would continue through October 2.  In recent events, the DOH and the HIDOE announced new guidelines meant to help schools determine the next course of action following fall break (October 5-9, 2020). While these new guidelines are helpful, there are many factors that we, at ULS, take into consideration when making our decision.

This letter is to inform you of our plan following the ULS fall break. ULS will continue with distance learning through Friday, November 6, 2020.

At this time, this is the best course of action for our ULS community. We will monitor the situation and make adjustments to our Return to Campus Plan to be able to bring back our students, faculty and staff when we are ready. We will provide an update at the end of October.

I wish you all the best in these challenging times and thank you for your continued support.

Have a relaxing and safe fall break with your family.

Mahalo.
