Bukkyo University (Kyoto, Japan) – Visitation

The University Laboratory School welcomed visiting faculty from Bukkyo University in Kyoto, Japan, on August 28-29, 2023. On the first day they visited our elementary mathematics and English Language Arts classes. On the second day they visited art, music, math, English, second language, and learning laboratory classes in the middle and high school. They were very grateful for the opportunity and shared positive comments about their experience, namely seeing how engaged and immersed the students were in their learning. This visit is part of ULS’ long standing partnership with the University of Hawai‘i, Mānoa – College of Education.
