We are students from the University Laboratory School Project Pono program. Our program focuses on service-learning and environmental stewardship.
On Saturday December 7 from 9a-2p, we will be hosting an Aloha 'Aina Earth Day recycling event with Kokua Foundation, and also feature a student-run sustainability and holiday craft-making fair. People will have the opportunity to bring in various items such as old appliances and other metals, bottles, clothes, e-waste, cooking oil and phonebooks, etc. to be recycled or repurposed. We will be making holiday-themed crafts such as recycled t-shirt wreaths and scarves, recycled jar snow globes, and recycled paper snowflakes and holiday cards. Join us!
